Why Not Just Run The Rear Sway Bar?
It's a common misconception that when upgrading the suspension on an Audi or VW, one should only upgrade the Rear Sway Bar while leaving the front stock, as some believe that upgrading the Front Sway Bar only increases understeer. This can be true in some applications, but in many instances, this is incorrect.
034Motorsport Engineers tested a Rear Sway Bar only upgrade for the 4M/4M.5/4M8 Audi Q7/SQ7 & Q8/SQ8 and found that only upgrading the Rear Sway Bar led to an unstable handling dynamic that made the handling of the vehicle feel disjointed from front to rear, and our Engineers found that there was excessive body roll and weight transfer to the outside tire on the front axle when cornering, resulting in significant turn-in understeer which would quickly turn into unstable mid-corner oversteer. This drove our team to develop a Front and Rear Sway Bar combination that aimed to stabilize the front end of the vehicle for better turn-in while still allowing for a rear-bias combination that promotes significantly less understeer, all while remaining comfortable and usable for day-to-day driving.
Upgrading the Front Sway Bar when paired with a bespoke Rear Sway Bar designed to be used with the upgraded Front Sway Bar will improve weight balance across the front wheels upon corner entry, reduce body roll and dive on the outside tire, and will allow for better front end traction throughout the corner. The Dynamic+ Rear Sway Bar Upgrade is specifically sized to work in conjunction with the Dynamic+ Front Sway Bar Upgrade, increasing Front Bar Stiffness by 21-38%, and Rear Bar Stiffness by 290-335% to promote a rear-bias handling dynamic that allows the car to have significantly reduced understeer, reduced body roll resulting in great mid-corner balance, and promotes an even application of force across all 4 tires for maximum lateral grip.

DYNAMIC+ FRONT AND REAR END LINKS:
These end links allow for uncompromised transfer of suspension movement to the sway bar, and are adjustable in length, allowing you to eliminate preload on the sway bar. 034Motorsport Dynamic+ Billet Adjustable Sway Bar End Links use high-misalignment ball joints, ensuring that the end links do not bind as the suspension articulates.
In addition, adjustable sway bar end links allow you to adjust preload on the sway bar, as well as alleviate potential sway bar clearance issues caused by lowering your car.
WHAT IS SWAY BAR PRELOAD?:
When a sway bar is preloaded, it means that it is already twisted when the car is at rest, and it’s trying to roll the car to one side because of this. This will lead to asymmetric behavior and the car will favor tuning one way versus the other.
Preload is detectable when the car is at ride height on a flat surface, and removal of an end link is difficult because the sway bar is already twisted and applying force on the bolt, or installing the end link is difficult because the bar needs to be twisted to insert the bolt through the hole in the sway bar. With equal-length non-adjustable sway bar end links, removing preload is not possible.
By utilizing our 034Motorsport adjustable end links, the lengths of each end link can be adjusted so that the end link can be easily installed at ride height without needing to twist the bar to get it to fit. Zero preload provides symmetrical handling in right and left turns.
