iE FDS Intercooler System For Audi C8 RS6 & RS7 - IETPCY1

$5,992.43

Our twin iE FDS Intercoolers for the Audi RS6 and RS7 4.0T are built with a relentless focus on performance, utilizing every inch of available space to deliver a 63% increase in volume. With carbon fiber air guides feeding fresh air, and our proprietary Flow Distribution System (FDS) ensuring efficient airflow, heat soak becomes a thing of the past. Whether you're running a Stage 1 tune or hybrid turbos, these intercoolers keep IATs low. Keep your flagship V8 at full potential, no matter how hard you push it.

LEADING FEATURES

  • 63% More Volume -Extreme cooling for peak performance
  • 31.87% Lower IATs -Maintain maximum power output safely
  • 12.66% Better Flow -Optimized airflow for any build
  • FDS Technology -Even air distribution across the core
  • Carbon Fiber Air Guides -Forced supply of the coolest air
  • Built To Perform -TIG-welded, rigorously tested, premium quality

BIGGER IS BETTER

Factory intercoolers struggle to manage heat, even on stock RS6/RS7 setups, let alone with upgrades. The small stock 401.6in³ / 6,581cc intercoolers quickly hit their limit, forcing the engine to pull power.

iE intercoolers deliver a massive 657.4in³ / 10,773 cc of core volume, offering superior heat dissipation for reliable performance across all builds from entry-level tunes to hybrid turbo monsters. No more power loss from heat soak -just consistent, exhilarating power.

iE FDS TECHNOLOGY

Size means nothing without efficiency. iE’s exclusive FDS technology channels air evenly across the core using strategically designed fins inside the end tanks. This ensures optimal cooling, reduces pressure drop, and minimizes heat build-up. The result? Consistently lower IATs (intake air temperatures) and faster recovery, giving you reliable performance with every pull.

A RUSH OF FRESH AIR

Our twin carbon fiber air guides force the coldest outside air from outside the bumper straight into the intercoolers. This isolates the intake charge air from the hot engine bay, keeping airflow cool and steady. With optimal airflow management, you'll unlock more power for every mile.

ENGINEERED TO PERFORM

Each iE intercooler is hand-welded by specialists, ensuring top-tier craftsmanship. After TIG welding, every unit undergoes strict testing and multi-point inspections to ensure zero leaks and flawless functionality. Expect nothing less than perfection right out of the box.

DEFEAT HEAT SOAK

When turbos push the limits, factory intercoolers increase intake temperatures, forcing the ECU to pull timing and boost, leading to power loss. iE’s oversized intercoolers and FDS tech keep IATs consistently lower than stock, maintaining peak output for your RS6 or RS7. With our intercoolers, you stay in the fast lane.

FLOW GAIN

Flow testing confirms up to a 12.66% increase in airflow over the stock setup, allowing your engine to breathe freely at any power level. By increasing airflow and reducing pressure drop, our intercoolers ensure smooth, unrestricted power delivery across the entire RPM range.

CONSECUTIVE IAT GAIN

To test IATs, multiple back-to-back single-gear pulls were performed while recording intake air temps. Comparing the intake air temperatures (IATs) between stock intercoolers and iE’s FDS-equipped intercoolers. Each pull with iE intercoolers shows significantly lower IATs, preventing heat build-up and power loss. With stock intercoolers, temperatures rise sharply and stay there, leading to noticeable power reduction. In contrast, iE intercoolers provided up to 31.87% lower IATs and maintained an average of 21.9% lower, showing minimal heat soak even under intense conditions.

The denser and cooler charge air, lower IATs, and increased flow work together to retain more power throughout each pull, delivering faster acceleration and sustained performance.

Testing was conducted on a hub dyno. Real-world conditions, with the vehicle in motion and airflow passing through the intercooler, are expected to yield even more impressive cooling results.

INSTALLATION

Despite their impressive size, these intercoolers are designed for a bolt-on job. Installation is straightforward with basic tools and only requires minor trimming of the wheel liners.

Average install time around 2-4 hours

PERFECT FIT

Our engineers leveraged advanced 3D scanning and rapid prototyping to guarantee a flawless fit. The result is an intercooler system that integrates seamlessly with your Audi, preserving the clean aesthetics of your premium RS6 or RS7.

  • How do I know if a part will fit my car?

We update our catalog daily to provide the most accurate fitment information possible. When shopping for parts, please use the “select your vehicle” car selector on the home page. Once you've selected your car, you can filter parts specific to it.

Additionally, on each product page, we have a tab for fitment information. By clicking on "Fitment", you can scroll and verify the part you are about to add to your cart indeed fits.

Furthermore, if you have a vehicle added to our vehicle selector and you are viewing a product page, you'll see fitment information below the "add to cart" button. If an item fits your car it will display "This Part Fits Your: Selected Vehicule". If an item does not fit your vehicle a message will display "This Part Does Not Fit".

  • What is a core charge?

A “Core Charge” is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda. In many states, to promote recycling, you are charged a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and you receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have Core Charges that work the same way as a soda can deposit. The most common car parts that include a core charge are alternators, calipers, steering racks, and fuel injectors.

  • What is MAP pricing? Why can't I get a discount on a MAP item?

"MAP" pricing, or Minimum Advertised Pricing, means that the vendor set a minimum retail price that we're not allowed to violate. MAP items cannot be discounted because the decrease in price would violate that threshold.
