iE Performance Lowering Springs For VW MK8 & MK7 Golf R - IESUCI7

$325.59

Elevate the look, handling, and performance of your VW MK7 or MK8 Golf R with iE's Performance Lowering Springs. Engineered specifically for all-wheel-drive models, these springs feature a progressive rate that ensures a smooth daily commute while delivering precision and agility during spirited drives. The lower stance turns heads, reduces body roll, and lowers the center of gravity for improved stability and control.

  • Sporty stance -Lowers car to deliver a stylish track-ready look
  • Lowered center of gravity -Drops front by 7/8" and rear by 1"
  • Levels chassis -Eliminates rake to keep the car flat through turns
  • Performance stability -Reduces body roll and understeer
  • Progressive spring rate -Comfy on the road, stiffens while cornering
  • Quality ride -No bouncing, slamming, rubbing, or harshness
  • Long life reliability -High tensile strength chrome silicon spring steel

STYLE MEETS HANDLING

iE Performance Lowering Springs go beyond looks with obsessive engineering to improve handling and responsiveness. By lowering your car’s body, these springs optimize its center of gravity, allowing you to tackle corners with confidence and carry more speed through turns. Pair them with our iE front and rear sway bars for the ultimate setup, eliminating understeer and transforming your car into a true performance machine.

PROGRESSIVE SPRING RATE

Designed with a progressive spring rate, our lowering springs adapt to your driving style. They offer a softer setting for smooth daily commuting and a firmer setting for planted cornering during spirited driving. This design ensures agile and precise control without the harshness of overly stiff springs, bottoming out, or rubbing fenders. Whether you're running errands or carving canyons, your ride will be comfortable and controlled.

  • Front spring rate: 150lb/in to 210lb/in
  • Rear spring rate: 150lb/in to 250lb/in

BUILT TO LAST

High-tensile chrome silicon spring steel offers lasting durability even against the most demanding track and road abuse. The final result is a rewarding blend of sportscar-like control, street comfort, lowered looks, and reliability that will last.

INSTALLATION

IE lowering springs directly replace the factory parts with a simple and straightforward installation. The use of a spring compressor tool is required.

Average install time: about 3.5 hours

  • How do I know if a part will fit my car?

We update our catalog daily to provide the most accurate fitment information possible. When shopping for parts, please use the “select your vehicle” car selector on the home page. Once you've selected your car, you can filter parts specific to it.

Additionally, on each product page, we have a tab for fitment information. By clicking on "Fitment", you can scroll and verify the part you are about to add to your cart indeed fits.

Furthermore, if you have a vehicle added to our vehicle selector and you are viewing a product page, you'll see fitment information below the "add to cart" button. If an item fits your car it will display "This Part Fits Your: Selected Vehicule". If an item does not fit your vehicle a message will display "This Part Does Not Fit".

  • What is a core charge?

A “Core Charge” is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda. In many states, to promote recycling, you are charged a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and you receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have Core Charges that work the same way as a soda can deposit. The most common car parts that include a core charge are alternators, calipers, steering racks, and fuel injectors.

  • What is MAP pricing? Why can't I get a discount on a MAP item?

"MAP" pricing, or Minimum Advertised Pricing, means that the vendor set a minimum retail price that we're not allowed to violate. MAP items cannot be discounted because the decrease in price would violate that threshold.
