Stage 1
Engineered to release hidden horsepower and torque on completely stock hardware. Obsessive development delivers power gains smoothly across the entire powerband without adding a single aftermarket part. For those wanting more out Stage 1, the choice between 91 & 93 fuel octanes is included and the ability to adapt to minor bolt-on modifications, such as an intercooler, intake, and turbo inlet pipe. Low torque (manual trans w/ stock clutch) and high torque (DSG trans or upgraded clutch) files are both available.
Stage 2
Is calibrated to take your performance to the next level. By upgrading the restrictive factory downpipe you unlock the full power potential from your stock turbo engine. Required bolt-ons (downpipe, intake, and intercooler) can be installed over a single weekend to match the tune -instantly transforming your MK7 GTI/GLI, or 8V A3 from a peppy street car into a true motorsport monster with 327HP and 399TQ!
IS38 Tubo
Stage 2 completely taps out all the available power from the factory IHI IS20 Turbo. Upgrading to an IHI IS38 Turbo boosts your car to the next level, delivering up to 415HP & 457TQ (420HP & 474TQ on 2019+). IE's IS38 Turbocharger Tune has been obsessively perfected to unleash the full potential from your turbo upgrade while remaining factory-like comfort and reliability. With your choice of 91, 93, or 104 octane, get ready to spin those tires with an addictive power and torque gain!
Exhaust Crackle
Make people look twice when you drive by and warn lesser vehicles of what may be in store for them. This feature makes your performance tuned car sound like a true motorsport machine when you rev, decelerate, or let off the throttle for gear changes. This exhaust crackle is completely safe and entirely addicting. Optional feature included with stage 2 & IS38 tunes.

This tune is for 2.0T engines with IS20 turbo only and does not support 8V A3 with 1.8T engines. Does not support 2017+ Audi A3 with front wheel drive (FWD).
REST OF WORLD (ROW) SUPPORT
IE tunes are designed and written on North American (NA) vehicles. Although IE does offer ROW purchases of software files, some ECUs available only in certain countries or markets may not be supported in our current file library. If you have access to read your ECU code, please contact us to verify compatibility before purchase.
INCREASED RPM
IE MK7 GTI/GLI & 8V A3 performance calibrations continue to make power and torque above the factory rev limiter. To take advantage of the larger power band, factory rev limits have been raised to 7000RPM. On automatic equipped cars, our DSG Tune is required to unlock these higher RPM ranges. DSG Calibration will shift slightly before (6900RPM).
Once a tune purchase is applied to your vehicle's ECU, the tune is permanently registered to the vehicle and non-transferable to other vehicles. Tune can be transferred to a second party in the event of vehicle transfer of ownership only. Try IE software for 45 days from shipment date, if for any reason you are unsatisfied the tune may be removed and refunded risk-free.

All orders of $499 or more being shipped within Canada qualify for free standard shipping. Additionally, orders less than $499 qualify for an exclusive low shipping rate.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

We use several availability modes to most accurately identify when products will leave their home facility:
Direct Ship This product is available and will be sourced from one of our suppliers. It may take up to three business days before it ships.
Warehouse Transfer We receive the item, then we ship it to remain on time with the guaranteed delivery range chosen at checkout. It typically takes between 6 and 12 business days before it ships.

Furthermore, if you have a vehicle added to our vehicle selector and you are viewing a product page, you'll see fitment information below the "add to cart" button. If an item fits your car it will display "This Part Fits Your: Selected Vehicule". If an item does not fit your vehicle a message will display "This Part Does Not Fit".
A “Core Charge” is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda. In many states, to promote recycling, you are charged a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and you receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have Core Charges that work the same way as a soda can deposit. The most common car parts that include a core charge are alternators, calipers, steering racks, and fuel injectors.
"MAP" pricing, or Minimum Advertised Pricing, means that the vendor set a minimum retail price that we're not allowed to violate. MAP items cannot be discounted because the decrease in price would violate that threshold.
