MK7/MK7.5 GTI/GLI Forged Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel - Perforated Leather With Red Stitching - ES#4376016

$775.04

Our ECS Tuning Forged Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel is made from exotic-inspired real forged carbon fiber in a high gloss finish for an ultra-premium feel and finish. It features high quality perforated leather material on the side grips with red-stitching that matches your MK7 / MK7.5 GTI's or GLI's interior. The deep thumb grips allow for a race-inspired feel, allowing you to take better control of your VW while driving aggressively through sharp corners or on some back-road 'twisties!'

The steering wheel is a direct replacement to your existing OEM wheel. Simply swap your trim, buttons, paddle shifters and airbag assembly for a complete install. We even documented this process in detail! See our Installation PDF for more details.

PART DESIGN

  • OEM-modeled shell, direct replacement to factory 'bare' steering wheel

  • Easy-to-swap OEM trim and airbag components

  • Forged carbon fiber in gloss clear coat (upper and lower grips)

  • Flat bottom "D" shaped wheel

  • Perforated leather with red stitching (side grips)

  • Deep finger and thumb grooves enhance control over the wheel

  • Made specifically for DSG models only*

    • *Will fit the same on manual transmission models, however, this will have open blanks where the paddle shifter trim would reside

INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT

  • Need installation tips? We put together a full installation tutorial from start to finish including how to remove your OEM parts in detail! See our Installation PDF for more information.

  • It is recommended to replace the steering wheel bolt after it has been removed.

  • How do I know if a part will fit my car?

We update our catalog daily to provide the most accurate fitment information possible. When shopping for parts, please use the “select your vehicle” car selector on the home page. Once you've selected your car, you can filter parts specific to it.

Additionally, on each product page, we have a tab for fitment information. By clicking on "Fitment", you can scroll and verify the part you are about to add to your cart indeed fits.

Furthermore, if you have a vehicle added to our vehicle selector and you are viewing a product page, you'll see fitment information below the "add to cart" button. If an item fits your car it will display "This Part Fits Your: Selected Vehicule". If an item does not fit your vehicle a message will display "This Part Does Not Fit".

  • What is a core charge?

A “Core Charge” is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda. In many states, to promote recycling, you are charged a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and you receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have Core Charges that work the same way as a soda can deposit. The most common car parts that include a core charge are alternators, calipers, steering racks, and fuel injectors.

  • What is MAP pricing? Why can't I get a discount on a MAP item?

"MAP" pricing, or Minimum Advertised Pricing, means that the vendor set a minimum retail price that we're not allowed to violate. MAP items cannot be discounted because the decrease in price would violate that threshold.
