ECS Tuning's leading R&D team has put in countless hours to engineer the best shifter for the B8/B8.5 chassis in the world! Keeping in mind that not everyone wants the shortest possible throw, ECS has implemented four settings of throw adjustment, providing up to a 43% reduction from the factory. Additionally, ECS has integrated a feature that allows you to independently adjust the height of your shift knob, ranging from factory to 75mm lower. The ECS Short Shifter allows you to fine tune and personalize the shifter to your liking for the best overall shifting experience.
BFI just raised the bar when it comes to one of the most frequently touched parts of your car's interior. This heavyweight shift knob feels like butter in palm of your hand, thanks due to the top grain perforated air leather that it's wrapped in. Weighing in at approximately 215 grams the added inertial mass makes shifting effort substantially less while speeding up the process at the same time. While They've borrowed inspiration from shift knobs past, BFI really perfected the proportions this time around- with the 3/4 leather to metal ratio. Visually this thing leaves nothing to be desired. The machining is top notch, and the detailed crest coin gives that classy yet sporting look which elevates any interior's level by at least 50 cool points! The included adapter is used to work with just about any VW/Audi shift lever. The knob's adapter is secured using three set screws for all models.
ECS Tuning's Adjustable Short Throw Shifter is mainly constructed of billet 6061-T6 aluminum for structural strength and weight savings, a 304 stainless steel shaft designed to retain use of your OE shift knob, mated with a maintenance-free 440c stainless steel and self lubricating bearing. The shifter plates secured at the base are produced of nylatron, a material that offers a friction level 2.7 times lower in comparison to brass, offering superior wear and noise resistance that makes it an ideal material for slide plate applications to extend part life. ECS Tuning's Adjustable Short Throw Shifters are engineered, manufactured, and assembled in the USA. You won't find a better combination on the market.

All orders of $499 or more being shipped within Canada qualify for free standard shipping. Additionally, orders less than $499 qualify for an exclusive low shipping rate.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

We use several availability modes to most accurately identify when products will leave their home facility:
Direct Ship This product is available and will be sourced from one of our suppliers. It may take up to three business days before it ships.
Warehouse Transfer We receive the item, then we ship it to remain on time with the guaranteed delivery range chosen at checkout. It typically takes between 6 and 12 business days before it ships.
Discontinued - No longer available This product has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available.

A “Core Charge” is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda. "MAP" pricing, or Minimum Advertised Pricing, means that the vendor set a minimum retail price that we're not allowed to violate. MAP items cannot be discounted because the decrease in price would violate that threshold.
